So in the last couple of weeks we've been fairly busy....

We've had a couple of parties to go to; Nick took the girls to Finlay's birthday party to catch up with the "school lot", whilst I toiled over a hot keyboard writing school reports and planning the rest of the school years learning (fun!). A much needed day for me - so thanks to all involved for entertainment etc.

The next event was the Wylie BBQ which we took the camera to, but the battery ran out so the photos are useless but provide evidence that we were there! It was a lovely day, despite this particularly precocious child who took centre stage singing High School Musical songs in to a microphone (incase we couldn't hear well enough!), generally bossing people around and being, well, bossy really. (Can't think where she gets it from!)

This weekend was thankfully a little less scheduled but certainly no less exciting! The Thurlby's came for a visit and we all had lunch and a walk with Molly. We all had a really lovely time - especially the hayfever sufferers (of which 2 did so quite noisily...... Andrew and Jessica!) when we walked through a field of really long grass (swishy, swashy, swishy, swashy!). Poor Andrew was practically crying by the time we got back to the house whence a hasty retreat was made for Karate goers. Some much needed nap time for the Wylies (and a teeny weeny clear up).

I have to confess that my highlight to the weekend is watching Jess and Maddy do Daddy's make up and hair to make him look "absolutely beautiful"..... I leave you lot to be the judges of that!!!!!!
